Return and Exchange Policies
Effective Sept. 01, 2008


When placing an order, you are asked to read and agree to the following Return / Exchange Policies. If you do not agree with these policies, please don't order from us. We will not bend or alter these polcies for anyone or for any reason, so please read them carefully and only order if you are in complete agreement. By placing an order with us, you make a legal and binding statement of agreement of said policies.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
  1. Absolutely no Santa Suit or Christmas Costumes or accessories returns will be accepted after December 15, 2008!
  2. All sales after December 15, 2008 are sold as FINAL SALE with no Returns for Refunds. Defect exchanges up to Dec. 20th only.
  3. Absolutely no item may be returned if you did not request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within five (5) days of the date you received it!
  4. All returns must be shipped and postmarked within 48 hours of receiving RMA number.

Due to the seasonal nature of Christmas merchandise, returns will be allowed only at DeluxeSantaSuits.com's sole discretion under the limited conditions listed below.

The following items are NEVER returnable for any reason:

  • Special order items including mascot costumes.
  • Closeout and clearance items.
  • Any item that states it can not be returned.
  • Any item that has been worn, used, altered or damaged.
  • Any item without all undamaged original packaging in "like new" condition.
  • Wigs, beards, eyebrows and eye lashes.
  • Makeup, cosmetics, etc.



The following items are returnable for refund* ONLY if unopened and factory sealed:

  • All costumes other then special orders or mascot costumes.
  • All accessories other then those noted as never returnable above.
  • All shoes, boots or other footwear

*Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only and do not include shipping and handling charges. Customer pays for shipping to return the items to us.




The following open items are returnable for exchange or partial refund* ONLY if they are in their original packaging. Items must not have been worn, used or altered in any way:

  • All costumes other then special orders or mascot costumes.
  • All accessories other then those noted as never returnable above.
  • All shoes, boots or other footwear

*Partial refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only less 25% mandatory restocking fee. If you don't want to incur the fee, you can exchange for something else without any restocking fees. But if you open and item and decide you no longer want it for any reason, a restocking fee will apply.




Defective Merchandise - Every item is thoroughly inspected prior to packing and shipping. So defects are very rare. If somehow a defective item has slipped by we will repair or exchange it (at our discretion) for the exact same item ONLY. Items must not have been worn, used or altered in any way.

Due to the nature of the product, the following do not qualify as defects:

  • Threads or seams coming undone on costumes.
  • Rips or tears anywhere on a costume.

Place a costume in a box without touching it, it will stay that way for years because seams and threads do not become undone by themselves. Once there is pressure, pulling, stretching wearing etc, a thread can break, a seam can become undone. This is not a manufacturing defect therefor can not be returned as a defect. Undone seams can be resewn by yourself or a tailor for a couple of dollars.

The following examples are of recognized defectives that we will accept back:

  • Drastic discoloration of the same piece of fabric.
  • One pant leg is 6" longer then the other.
  • One Sleeve is 3" longer then the other.
  • Received 2 left or 2 Right shoes/boots.
  • Obvious factory defect in materials.
  • Unsewn seams.

Unsewn seams are seams that are missed by the sewing machine when manufactured. There will not be sewing holes in the pieces of material if the machine missed it. That is a defect. If the material has holes... then that is an undone seam which is not a defect.

RETURN FOR REFUND INSTRUCTIONS

  2. Absolutely no item may be returned if you did not request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within five (5) days of the date you received it!
  3. All returns must be shipped and postmarked within 48 hours of receiving RMA number.

To return unopened factory sealed merchandise for a full refund less shipping & handling, simply contact our customer service with your order number and the list of items you are returning within five (5) days of the date you received it. A friendly member of our staff will promptly issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA #).

We generally process refunds within a 1-2 business days of receiving the product back. During December this process may take up to 3-4 business days.

Please note:

Your return must be shipped within 48 hours from receiving the RMA number and shipped via a traceable and insured method. If you return the item without the ability to track the delivery or insurance and we don't receive the item, we will not be responsible for refunding the order.

Any item returned that falls outside our normal return policies and instructions, including returned late or without a valid RMA, or returned with missing or damaged packaging is subject to an additional minimum 25% handling charge. Please double-check that you have included all of the costume and packaging prior to mailing your return to our warehouse.

Please note: All return shipping costs (except for defective merchandise) is the customer's responsibility. Original order's shipping fees are not refundable for any reason.








EXCHANGE INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Absolutely no Santa Suit or Christmas Costumes or accessories returns will be accepted after December 15, 2008!
  2. Absolutely no item may be returned if you did not request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within five (5) days of the date you received it!
  3. All returns must be shipped and postmarked within 48 hours of receiving RMA number.

If you need a different size costume, you must place a new order for the needed replacement item(s) and return the item(s) you have already received. This is because the desired item maybe out of stock by the time we receive your return and to ensure the fastest delivery of your replacement item(s).

After you complete your new replacement order, contact our customer service with your original order number and your new order number. A friendly member of our staff will promptly issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA #).

DEFECT EXCHANGE INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Absolutely no Santa Suit or Christmas Costumes or accessories defect returns will be accepted after December 20, 2008!
  2. Absolutely no item may be returned if you did not request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within five (5) days of the date you received it!
  3. All returns must be shipped and postmarked within 48 hours of receiving RMA number.

If you received a defective item, contact our customer service with your original order number and be sure to provide them with your order number and the defective item name and number and the description of the defect. We may ask for pictures to show the defect. Once we approve the item to be returned, a friendly member of our staff will promptly issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA #) and send you a pre-paid return label to return the item in question to us.

If the defect only effects part of an item, for example: pants as part of a Santa suit or one of 2 boots, we may request that only that effective part be returned.

Upon receipt of the defective item, we will inspect and repair if possible or simply ship out a replacement if a quality repair is not possible. We will return ship the item to you at no additional cost. We generally process reshipments within 1-2 business days of receiving the defective item back. During December this process may take up to 3-4 business days.
